Frances M. Wolfe

MINERAL RIDGE — Frances M. Wolfe, 88, formerly of McKinley Heights, died 12:34 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Vista at the Ridge Care Center in Mineral Ridge.

She was born Aug. 23, 1928, in Niles, the daughter of Frank and Edith Sankey Bianco.

Frances was employed as an Avon lady for most of her life and was known as the Avon lady of Niles; she was also a member of their Diamond Club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Niles, auxiliary for the McKinley Heights Mutual Benefits Association through the McKinley Heights Fire department and also was a member of the VFW of Girard.

She enjoyed traveling, word searches, the soap opera, “Young and the Restless” and loved to devote her time to her grandkids.

Her husband, Harry O. Wolfe, whom she married July 12, 1947, died in 2002.

She will be deeply missed by two sons, Harry (Shawn) Wolfe of Cypress, Texas and Frank (Marilyn) Wolfe of McKinley Heights; two daughters, Sandra Kover of Mineral Ridge and Vickie (Cho) Schuller of Niles; a brother, Frank “Duke” Bianco of Warren; nine grandchildren, Harry (Tracey) Wolfe, Lee Wolfe, Forrest Wolfe, Spencer Wolfe, Frank (Brittney) Wolfe Jr., Daniel (Stephanie) Wolfe, Heather Kulon, Jessica Schuller and Traci (Nathan) Vigorito; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family would also like to give special thanks to her great-niece, Karren Dermer St. Clair.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Tim Wolfe; brother, George Bianco; and three sisters, Peggy Collier, Betty Harker and Edna Shelar.

Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Joseph Rossi & Sons Funeral Home in Niles and also one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
