William C. Clark


NILES — William Charles Clark, 61, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic with his loving family by his side.

He was born Oct. 1, 1955, in Youngstown, the son of Homer and Cleo Brumfield Clark and was a lifelong area resident.

Charles served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1977.

He worked at Niles Iron and Metal for over 20 years and was well loved by his co-workers. Charles was Lutheran by faith and loved trains and brass collecting.

Charles leaves three children, Heather Clark of Niles, Dale (Veronica) Clark of New Jersey and William Clark II of Boardman; two brothers, Eddie (Judy) Clark and Jim (Sondra) Clark; and one sister, Kathy “Sis” (Chuck) Flickinger, all of Youngstown; as well as 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many close nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, William was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Clark and John Clark.

Friends may call 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel, where services will be at 3 p.m., followed by full military honors.
