Richard J. Miller
HOWLAND — Richard Joseph Miller, 48, of Howland, died Thursday evening, Nov. 24, 2016, at his home of an apparent heart attack.
He was born March 21, 1968, in Warren, the son of the late Theodore Robert Miller and Annie H. Hudak Miller of Howland. He had been a lifetime Howland resident.
Richard was a 1986 graduate of Howland High School and then received his auto technician certification from the New Castle School of Trades, New Castle, Pa. He worked for many years as an auto mechanic, working most recently at 82 Auto Wrecking, Brookfield.
Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and loved being outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his Happy Hour buddies at Up A Creek Tavern.
He is survived by his mother, Annie H. Miller of Howland; three brothers, Steven T. Miller, Louis T. (Susan) Miller and Christopher P. Miller Sr., all of Howland; one nephew, Christopher (Brittany Duncan) Miller Jr.; two nieces, Missy Miller-Scoville and Michele Miller; and two great-nieces, Sophia Ann and Leah Nichole.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Theodore, in 1986; and a brother, Michael J. Miller, in 2010.
Per Richard’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren.
