WARREN — Louise “Weesie” Ratliff, 94, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at Gillette Nursing Home.
She was born April 12, 1922, in Gustavus, the daughter of the late Mervin and Viola Lowe.
Louise was co-owner, with her husband, Harlan, of Friendly Tavern in Cortland for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, boating and traveling in her motor home.
Louise served in the Army Air Corps in World War II.
She is survived by her children, Judson (Robert Blanck) Ratliff of Harvard, Mass., Sue (Hayden) Misik of Howland and Harlan (Beth) Ratliff Jr. of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Heather and Mark (Heather) Misik, James (Sara) Wadsworth and Kristy (Craig) Shafer; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Harlan Ratliff.
Family and friends may call 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44483. A service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Dan Devadan officiating. Entombment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
