Charles E. Llewelyn 1943-2016

WARREN — Charles Earl Llewelyn, 73, passed away from a heart ailment at 8:06 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 16, 1943, in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Royal and Victoria Wilson Llewelyn.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired in February 2004, after working 29 years as a painter for the Warren City Schools. He also painted for the Trice Co. and the DeBartolo Corp.

He was a member of the NAUS and Shortys Clubs. Chuck was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the University of Kansas Jayhawks basketball team. He enjoyed singing karaoke but especially cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and dogs.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Patricia Burdandine Llewelyn, whom he married July 28, 1979; five children, Troy (Angel) Llewelyn of Cortland, David (MaryAnn) Llewelyn of Kansas, Teresa Jeffco of Twinsburg, Randy (Jessica) Llewelyn of Warren, and Melissa Llewelyn of Warren; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Joyce  of Florida; and brother, John David of Kansas.

Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at  Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
