Joseph W. Clark
WARREN — Joseph W. Clark, 72, of Warren, passed away early Saturday morning, Oct. 22, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born March 9, 1944, in Warren, a son of Charles C. and Edna Mae Cook Clark.
He attended Lakeview High School and was employed as a painter for General Motors Corp. in Lordstown for 31 years before retiring in 1999.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Joe married the former Shirley Ann Steinhauser April 10, 1971. They shared almost 42 years of marriage and many happy memories together until her passing on March 31, 2012.
He enjoyed working on and painting cars. He also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Joe is survived by six siblings, Mary Clark, Robert (Pat) Clark, Paul (Joan) Clark, Sue (Richard) Wilkes, Donna Heilman, and Sherry (Thomas) Denman; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Charles, Edwin, Melvin and Richard Clark; and a sister, June Dragon.
In accordance with Mr. Clark’s wishes, there will be no funeral services or calling hours.
Arrangements for Mr. Clark are being handled by the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave., Warren.
