Edward E. Drennen

WARREN – Edward E. Drennen, 66, of Warren, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, Sept. 29, 2016, with his family at his side, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Lake Vista of Cortland.

He was born June 21, 1950, in Warren, a son of Lawrence and Betty Balley Drennen.

He graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the Army, he worked on the assembly line for General Motors Lordstown for 30 years before retiring. After his retirement, he worked as a bail bondsman with All American Big Bob’s Bail Bonds.

Edward was an avid Harley Davidson fan, of both building motorcycles and riding them. He enjoyed bowling, and one of his favorite TV shows was “Duck Dynasty.” He also loved animals and enjoyed drag racing and NASCAR.

He is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Betty Drennen of Warren; two daughters, Amy (Kevin Markle) Drennen of Warren and Janelle (Chris Lewis) Drennen of Aurora; two nephews, Gary (Adora) Drennen Jr. of West Farmington and Billy (Susan) Drennen of Warren; and a niece, Regina Drennen of Howland.

Friends may gather to pay respects 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave., Warren. Following calling hours at the funeral home, a celebration of life dinner will be held at Freeway Lanes of Warren, 2700 Parkman Road NW, Warren.
