Bacil L. Rogers

WARREN — Bacil Lee Rogers, 75, of Warren, passed on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

Bacil, was born on Sept. 20, 1933, in Shock, W.Va., one of the 14 children of Claude and Clara Cottrill Rogers.

He had previously resided in Florida, where he had been employed by Amtrak. After his health failed seven years ago, he relocated to Warren.

He enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar.

Bacil is survived by his wife, Rose Wilson Rogers; his sons, Bacil, Jr. (Penny), James, Glenn (Lynn) and Darell (Kim) Rogers; his daughter, Bonnie Rogers (Bill); his grandchildren, Mark, Crystal, Dominic, Dustin, Michael, Leslie, Kyle, Samantha and Joey; and his siblings, Shirley, Doc and Nelson.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at the Bolindale Christian Church in Warren.  Following the service will be a fellowship and dinner.
