Michael S. Hunyady

NEWTON FALLS – Michael Scott Hunyady,19, of Newton Falls, formerly of Lake Milton, died on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, after being struck by a car on his bicycle while going to work.

He was born June 11, 1997, in Youngstown, the son of Robert Scott Hunyady and Jennifer L. Rader Tuchek. Michael worked as a stock boy at Shop-N-Save in Newton Falls. He lived in Newton Falls for the past six years. He loved collecting knives, spending time with family, playing video games and watching “The Walking Dead.”

Michael is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Robert Tuchek Jr. of Paris Township; his father, Robert Scott Hunyady of Niles; three brothers, William Weimer of Howland, James Tuchek of Akron and Jordan Tuchek of Newton Falls; maternal grandparents, Robin and Boyd Thomas of Lebanon, Ohio, and Kenneth Rader of Warren; paternal grandparents, Dorothy Cessna of Howland and Robert W. Hunyady of Niles; step-grandparents, Jill Bassin of Girard and Robert and Dee Tuchek of Hubbard; and great-grandmother, Wilma Moore of Hubbard. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be 6 pm. Friday Sept. 30, 2016, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. The family will receive friends for calling hours 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Michael will be laid to rest at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Township.
