Thomas D. Scott

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Thomas D. Scott, 75, formerly of Vienna, passed away from cancer on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Los Robles Hospital.

Thomas was born April 14, 1941, in Vienna, a son to the late Dwight and Guyla Gill Scott.

He was a 1959 graduate of Vienna High School. After high school, Tom served in the U.S. Navy, 1960 to 1964, where he was a third class sonar technician.

He later moved to California, where he was employed at Ivy Hill Graphics, retiring in 2009.

He leaves his wife, Lynne McAnally; one daughter, Kelly (Ian) Atkinson of Westlake Village, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Chloe and Caden Atkinson. He is also survived by his siblings, Jorena (Robert) Kennedy of Vienna, John (Sandy) Scott of Vienna, and Linda (Frank) Czako of Westerville; brothers-in-law, Donald (Nancy) Wilson of Columbus, Russell Burns of Richmond, Va., Terry (Cathy) McAnally and Neal McAnally of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and one stepdaughter, Terri Rockhold of Coastal, Calif.

He was preceded in death by sisters Mary Lou Wilson and Nancy Burns; a brother, Edwin Scott; and brother-in-law, Stephen McAnally.

There will be an 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at the Paynes Corners Christian Church in Brookfield. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements were handled by the Rose Hill Funeral Home in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
