Frank C. Hawley

NEW VIENNA – Frank C. Hawley, 80, of New Vienna, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, after a lengthy illness.

He was born June 10, 1934, in Williamsville, Ill., the son of Burl and Luella Hawley.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1962 and was stationed in Korea.

He retired from the Ohio Turnpike Commission in 2000.

He was an avid golfer, sportsman and family man. He was a member of the VFW, Elks Wilmington and the Clinton County Sportsman’s Club.

He is survived by two daughters, Doraine Sabino and Michelle Hawley; sister, Sandra Whiteleather; and five grandchildren, Trenton Sabino, Kira Sabino, Shallen Sabino, Matthew Kraus and Jessica Kraus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Phil and Rick Hawley of Williamsville; and his wife of 26 years, Judith Jaxtheimer Hawley of Leavittsburg.

A memorial service and interment will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel in Vienna.
