Betty J. Bernadella
MASURY – Betty Jane Bernadella, 83, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at O’Brien Memorial Nursing Home in Masury.
She was born June 1, 1931, to the late Grant and Elnora Dahringer Robinson in Brookfield.
Betty was a member of the Masury VFW Auxillary Post #8860. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking and was an avid Ohio State University football fan. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife to her four sons and husband.
She is survived by her four sons, Edward (Penny) Taylor of Carrollton, Texas, Ronald (Suzanne) Taylor of Sharpsville, Pa., Carmen Bernadella of Brooksville, Fla., and Richard Bernadella II of Columbus; five grandchildren, Valerie, Douglas, Matthew, Christopher and Kasey; sister, Margie Jean Ser of Farrell, Pa.; two brothers, William Robinson of Franklin, Pa. and Grant Robinson Jr. of Franklin, Pa.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Richard “Ozzie” Bernadella in 1987; her parents; brother, Ernest Robinson; half sister, Dorothy Lawler; and two half brothers, Thomas Robinson and Stanley Robinson.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel, 6932 Warren-Sharon Road in Brookfield, where a celebration of life service will begin at 6 p.m.
Burial will be held at a later date in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
