NEWTON FALLS – Sabina Ulmicher, 95, of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Vista Center at the Ridge.
On Nov. 17, 1918, in Cleveland, Joseph and Helen Galon Piesecki welcomed the birth of their daughter, Sabina.
Sabina was employed as a machinist during World War II and later as a line worker for American Greetings. In her spare time she was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed cross-stitching and embroidery.
On Aug. 8, 1944, in Cleveland, George A. Ulmicher and Sabina Piesecki where united into marriage and from this union they had a daughter, Roxanne and a son, Jeffrey. After 61 wonderful years, George preceded her in death in 2005.
Cherished memories of Sabina will be carried on by her daughter, Roxanne (Werner) Lange of Newton Falls; son, Jeffrey (Dorothy) Ulmicher of Cleveland; seven grandchildren, Tishana, Alexander, Andreas, Adrian and Leanora Lange, Stephen and Crystal Ulmicher; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding Sabina in death were her parents; husband, George; brother, Henry Piesecki; and sisters, Clemetine Darmour and Freida Dailey.
Sabina will be laid to rest in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery with a private graveside service.
Arrangements are by Borowski Memorial Home, Newton Falls.
