Barbara J. Yoho

WARREN – Barbara Jean Ebert Yoho, 85, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

She was born Oct. 18, 1928, to the late Edward and Alma Stern Ebert in West, W.Va.

Barbara graduated from Magnolia High School in 1946. She married her late husband, Hubert A. Yoho on Sept. 11, 1947. Barbara had worked at Kresge’s, Morgan Lumber and for many families as a baby sitter over the years. She loved to bake, cook and go to yard sales any chance she had. Barbara was also an avid Cleveland Indians fan, and was the biggest fan of the Ebert Brothers Band, from New Martinsville, W.Va.; she rarely missed a show since their creation in 1968.

Barbara is survived by her children, Karen (Gene) Capron, Janice (Jim) Henderson, Larry (Mary “Cookie”) Yoho; daughter-in-law, Betty Yoho; grandchildren, Scott (Holly) Capron, Rodney (Kathy) Yoho, Ryan (Angie) Yoho, Kristina Yoho, Cory (Amy) Larabee, Angie (Tim) Pickens, Lisa (Andrew) Glavin and Trey Yoho; great-grandchildren, Cody, Katie, Bryce, Jeremy, Reina, Lexi, Sierra, Riley, Kenny and Jeffrey; siblings, Gerald Ebert, Ray (Ellen) Ebert, Patty (Jerry) Heslep, Gary (Dot) Ebert; sister-in-law, Shirley Ebert; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Hubert A. Yoho, on Oct. 20, 1986; her parents; son, Kenny Yoho, on March 23, 2007; two brothers, Norbert Ebert and Drexel Poe; and a sister-in-law, Jane Ebert.

Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive N.E., Warren, OH 44483. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, W.Va.
