NILES – Antoinette “Tanny” Liberatore, 66, of Niles, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at University Hospital in Cleveland, after a long battle with heart disease.
She was born June 19, 1948, in Warren, the daughter of Raymond and Cecilia Nuskievicz Liberatore.
She was a 1966 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and retired from Trumbull Memorial Hospital, where she was employed as a computer technician in the C.C.U.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, the Niles Catholic Women’s Club, and past secretary of Shorty’s Club. She adored her granddaughter and enjoyed spending as much time with her as she could.
She will be deeply missed by a son, Anthony (Patty) Fuda of Niles; a daughter, Tina Fuda of Niles; a brother, Jack (Jan Sohayda) Liberatore of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Sr. Mary Cecilia Liberatore, SND, of Cleveland; and a granddaughter, Colette Fuda.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Arthur P. Fuda; and special friend, Keith Brown.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles, where the Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, with the Rev. John-Michael Lavelle officiating, preceded by a 9 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
