Rowland K. Stoll

PARKMAN – Rowland K. Stoll, 87, a lifelong resident of Parkman, died at his residence on Sunday, June 22, 2014.

He was born on Aug. 6, 1926, in Parkman, a son of Derlin and Pearl Kightlinger Stoll.

He was a graduate of Parkman High School in 1944, and married Shirley Hillier on June 30, 1950, in Parkman Congregational Church. They were married 56 years before she died in 2007.

Rowland was a dairy farmer and enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting and carpentry.

He will be missed dearly by his friends and family; his daughter, Peggy Koelble; three sons, Bob, Joe and Ray Stoll; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Luva Whetstone.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley; infant son, Paul; his parents; and his sister, Arlene Gotham.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St. (state Route 87), Middlefield. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Overlook Cemetery in Parkman.
