Nancy C. Kearns

WARREN – Nancy Carol Kearns, 75, of Warren, died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at her residence.

Nancy was born Nov. 1, 1939, in Newton Falls, the daughter of the late John and Mary Gretcho Peterson.

She married Thomas Kearns, who also preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Newton Falls High School in 1957 and was employed at T&T Motors in the sales department, and also was a homemaker.

Her enjoyments include crossword puzzles, writing, and being an avid Browns, Indians and Cavaliers fan.

Being strong-willed and a survivor, she endured a long battle with emphysema. ”She was very special and impacted the lives of everyone who met her and was loved by all.”

Survivors include her children, Mary Lou Myers of Warren, Michael Kearns of North Carolina, Melissa Kearns of Warren and Thomas E. (Susan) Kearns II of Warren; brother, Ronnie Peterson; sister, Debbie Hall; 13 grandchildren, Keith and Duane Myers, Melissa Selby, Michael, Austin and Eva Kearns, Cody Kearns, Geist, Lauren, Amber, Thomas E. (Tonya) III, Melissa, Elisha and Brandon Kearns; 12 great-grandchildren; and dearest friend, Lisa McKinney.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jacob Kearns.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. James Walker will officiate. Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday prior to the funeral.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery
