WEST FARMINGTON – Genevieve Lehman, 85, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, surrounded by her family.
Genevieve was born April 26, 1929, in Youngstown, Pa., the daughter of the late Thomas and Ola Mae Osborn Williams.
She owned and operated Geauga Farms County Meat Market with her husband, Glenn, in Welshfield for many years.
Genevieve enjoyed playing cards and doing all types of puzzles, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
On June 5, 1955, she was united in marriage to Glenn A. Lehman, and together they shared 51 loving years until his passing on July 27, 2006.
Genevieve’s memories will be cherished by her son, Warren C. Lehman of Southington; her daughter, Jennie (Austin) Carter of Southington; three brothers, Barry Williams of Champion, Norman Williams of Omaha, Neb., and Robert Williams of Uniontown, Pa.; two sisters, Mary Lehman of Warren and Janice Bartlett of Port St. Lucy, Fla.; three grandchildren, Cuyler Lehman, Amanda Calley and Carolyn Redmond; and two great-granddaughters, Ava and Lilly.
Besides her parents and husband, Genevieve was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Williams and Arie Thomas Williams; and one sister, Delores Williams.
Private family services will be held at a future date.
