Delores E. Resh
PARIS TOWNSHIP – Delores E. Resh, 79, passed on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, in the emergency room of St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
Delores was born April 24, 1935, in Somerset, Pa., the daughter of Walter A. and Ethel Johnston Durst.
She obtained her formal education in the Somerset school system.
Delores moved to the area in 1952 with her husband, Teddy, where they welcomed their two children and spent 62 loving years together. She enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as playing bingo and computer games.
Cherished memories will be carried on by her loving family, her husband, Teddy L. Resh Sr., whom she married on March 21, 1952, in Winchester, Va.; her son and daughter-in-law, Teddy L. (Betty) Resh Jr.; her adored grandchildren, Tracy (Roy) Wilson, Katrina (Dave) Becker, Bobbie (Donnie) Moore, Renee (Corey) Tasker and Bo (Bekki) Tasker; her great-grandchildren, LeAnna, Johnathen, Kylee, Stacy, Haylee, Dylan, Brady and Bo; her sister, Eileen Durst Briggs; a son-in-law, Rick Tasker; as well as many other extended family members.
Preceding Delores were her parents; her sisters, Alta Wolley, Mary Ellen Haines, Virginia Malemi and Ethel Marie Fetty; brothers, Watson Durst, Frankie Durst and Jimmy Durst; and two infant siblings; along with her daughter, Tammy L. Tasker.
Delores will be laid in Hawley Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday.
Arrangements for Delores were entrusted to the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
