Mario A. Williams

COLUMBUS – Mario A. Williams, 33, of Columbus, formerly of Warren, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Mount Carmel East Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.

He was born June 13, 1980, in Warren, the son of Darryl Flanagan and Darlene Williams.

Mr. Williams was a self-employed painter. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Natalyn Floyd Williams of Columbus; one daughter, Namari L. Williams of Columbus; one stepson, Christopher Salas of Columbus; one stepdaughter, Christiaun Salas of Columbus; his mother of Columbus; his father of Warren; two brothers, Jermaine Griffin of Centreville, Va., and Jontee Williams of Columbus; one sister, Ashley Flanagan of Warren; two grandmothers, Naomi Flanagan and Betty Williams, both of Warren; and one great-grandmother, Cleola Roberts of Warren.

A funeral service is noon Monday at Second Baptist Church, where calling hours are one hour prior to service. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.

The family also will receive friends at the homes of his grandmothers, 710 Maple St. S.W., Warren, and 281 Third St. S.W., Warren.

Arrangements were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
