Kryan K. Atkins

WARREN – Kyran Keith Atkins, 17, of 2456 Milton St. S.E., died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at St. Joseph Health Center following a gunshot wound.

He was born Nov. 13, 1996, in Warren, the son of Brian Atkins Sr. and Angel E. Diggs, and was raised by Tiombe Fambro.

Kyran attended Warren G. Harding High School, where he was a member of the football team. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Zi’Airea Atkins of Warren; his mother, father and guardian Tiombe, all of Warren; 13 brothers, Duriell Diggs, Shaquille Diggs, Brian Atkins Jr., Say’Quan Atkins, Demonte Atkins, King Atkins, Jaquai Atkins, Cordae Diggs, Devin Atkins, Tajohn Atkins, Markell Atkins, Jermaine Gary Jr. and Jevon Fambro, all of Warren; four sisters, Ashley Atkins, Anyla Atkins, Elexis Truly and Aveya Atkins, all of Warren; grandparents, Bernita Diggs and Carl Foster, both of Warren, and Jean Atkins Code of Akron; and great-grandmother Annie Foster of Canton.

He was preceded in death by one sister, a grandfather, three great-grandmothers, and two great-grandfathers.

Services will be held at noon Thursday at All Souls Church, where friends may call two hours prior to the service.

Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.

The family also will receive friends at 1787 Brier St. S.E., the home of Bernita Diggs, and 2456 Milton St. S.E., the home of Tiombe Fambro.

Arrangements were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
