VIENNA – Carol Lumley, 72, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Kobacker House Hospice in Columbus.
Carol was born June 25, 1941 in Warren, the daughter of Carl and Eleanor Cessna Reynolds.
Carol married Carl Lumley on March 4, 1959 and together they had six children.
Carol was a homemaker and was blessed with 51 years of marriage with her husband until the time of his death on Dec. 28, 2010.
Carol enjoyed knitting, drawing, playing bingo and loved going to festivals. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and member of the Fowler Community. Carol’s favorite pastime was that spent with her family, extended family and friends. She loved listening to Elvis and Johnny Cash music.
Survivors include her children: Cynthia (David) Gless of Niceville, Fla., Carla Miller of Columbus, Crystal (Douglas) Joseph of Hillard, Curtis Lumley of Vienna, Cassandra (Matthew) James of Dublin and Cherlynn Lumley of Euclid; grandchildren, Derek (Amy) Gless, Brandy Gless (Steven Shuler), Rebecca (Lawrence) Nelson, Amanda Miller, Dana Mathis, Lisa Miller, Craig Joseph, Alyssa Lumley, Cody Lumley, Nicholas Lumley, Lauren Lumley, Taylor Lumley, Corey Lumley; great grandchildren, Paigelyn, Makayla, Calista, Destiny, Xavier, Kitara, RaeAnn, Gavin, Abigail, Logan, Brent, Camren, and Avalee; sister, Shirley Jones, Niles; brother, Robert Reynolds, Niles.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Thelma Hanshaw.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Niles Union Cemetery.
