Nicholas J. Nadeja

HUBBARD – Airman First Class Nicholas J. Nadeja, 21, of Hubbard, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014, in Italy, where he was stationed in Aviano with the United States Air Force.

Nicholas was born Feb. 3, 1993, in Youngstown, the son of Donald W. and Dawn M. D’Amico Nadeja.

“Nick didn’t like anybody, he loved everybody.”

He was a 2011 graduate of Hubbard High School and was a member of the wrestling family. Nick enjoyed wrestling competitively since the age of 3.

He was a munition specialist with the United States Air Force stationed in Italy with an extended family of more than 250 Air Force brothers and sisters.

Nicholas will be sadly missed by his parents, Donald Nadeja of Hubbard, Dawn M. (Sean) Turner of Canfield; his brothers, Donni Nadeja of Cornersburg, and Anthony Nadeja of Hubbard; his grandmother, Fran D’Amico of Austintown. He also leaves his godson and nephew, Hendrix Nadeja; and numerous family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph D’Amico and Donald and Justina Nadeja.

There will be a service at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard. There will be calling hours from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, also at the church.

Nicholas will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown with full military honors provided by United States Air Force Honor Guard of Vienna.
