Audrey I. Everett

WARREN – Audrey I. Everett, 84, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at St. Joseph Health Center after a long illness.

She was born on Dec. 24, 1929, in Cortland, the daughter of Harry and Frances Klingensmith.

Audrey was a graduate of Cortland High School, and worked for 24 years in the food service for the Warren City Schools as a dietitian.

Some of her many pleasures were spending time with family and friends, crocheting, and staying current with modern technology. She especially enjoyed playing games on her tablet. She was a big sports fan and enjoyed watching it on TV whenever she could.

Memories of Audrey will be carried on by daughters, Peggy Cooks of Warren, with whom she made her home, and Brenda (Vaughn) Everett of Brooksville, Pa.; and her grandchildren, Marlin L. Cooks of Warren, Monique Nicole Cooks of Arlington, Texas, and Martin Saenz of Warren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Quintin I. Everett, and son-in-law, Marion “Bobby” Cooks.

Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at McFarland and Son Funeral Home in Warren, with the Rev. Glenn Hamilton officiating.

Her family will receive friends will one hour prior to the service.

Final committal services will follow with a procession to North Jackson Cemetery.
