SEFFNER, Fla. – Mike Pecorelli, 93, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014.
He was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Vieste, Italy, the son of Pasquale and Lucia Pecorelli.
Mike was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Youngstown-based Taylor-Winfield as a machinist and metallurgist.
Nothing was more important to him than his family and his church St. Francis of Assisi in Seffner.
Survivors include his wife, Angeline Pecorelli; two sons, Patrick (Nikkianne) and Michael (Teri); a daughter, Annette; two granddaughters, Carly Ann (Jason) and Taylor Marie; and one great-granddaughter, Harper Grace, all of Florida. Mike is survived by brothers Antonio (Paula) Piccorelli and Paul (Shirley); and sisters Mary (Joe) Shrodek, Katherine (John) Carson, Phyllis (Angelo) Satterelli and Donatina (Dominic) Bufano.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Pasquale and Lucia Pecorelli, and his brother, Joeseph (Anne).
Services were held Thursday, Feb 27, 2014, followed by a noon Mass at St. Francis of Assisi. Interment followed in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements were handled by Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home in Brandon, Fla.
