CHAMPION – Deanna L. Spano-Richmond, 48, of Champion, died Saturday evening, March 29, 2014, at Hospice House in Poland following an extended illness.
She was born May 25, 1965, in Warren, the daughter of Frank C. and Geraldine C. Bokros Spano of Champion.
Deanna was a 1983 graduate of Champion High School and a 1995 graduate of Raphael’s Beauty School. She worked in Texas from 1983 to 1995 as a payroll specialist. After returning to Trumbull County, she worked as a nail technician at various beauty salons in the area.
Deanna enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, flower gardening and crafts.
She is survived by her parents of Champion; one sister, Yvonne (Bob) Jackson of Canton; one brother, Frank (Sheri) Spano of Newton Falls; three nephews, John Jackson, Joe (Lauren) Jackson and Dan (Danielle) Jackson; two nieces, Christy (Jeff) Liber and Sandi Gorvet; five great-nieces and -nephews; and Deanna’s lifelong best friend since 10th grade and who was a part of the Spano family, Jennifer Henderson of Champion.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday. Chaplain Rebecca Hudak will officiate.
