Damon A. Jarvis

ST. ALBANS,W.Va. – Damon Adonis Jarvis, 50, of St. Albans, W.Va., passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, Charleston, W.Va., of cardiac arrest.

He was born Feb. 8, 1964, in Barberton, the son of Joel and Ethelee Morris Jarvis of Elmira, W.Va.

Damon loved to fish and was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed doing carpentry work on his home.

He was a Christian. He attended schools in Newton Falls.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Conni (Dennis) Musser of Newton Falls; brother, Charles (Cindy) Jarvis of Leavittsburg; sisters, Vicky (Holly) Greathouse of Creston, W.Va., and Rose (Keith) Ferry of Leavittsburg; three grandchildren, Dassanni, Chloe and Ayden Musser; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tabitha Jo; and a brother, Joel “Nick” Jarvis II.

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, W.Va., with Pastor David Holbrook officiating.

Burial will be in the Moore Fork Cemetery, Big Otter, W.Va.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
