Leslie Helsley 1951-2014

WARREN – Leslie “Admiral BRMC” Helsley, 62, of Warren, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at his home.

He was born Aug. 1, 1951, in Warren, the son of Wayne and Helen Hanek Helsley. He married Marlene Perkins Helsley on Nov. 23, 1984.

He was employed as a painter with Thomas Steel for 30 years.

Les was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during the Vietnam War.

Admiral was a member of the Brothers Regime Motorcycle Club and donated his time to the Warren Family Mission.

Memories of Les will be carried on by his mother, Helen Hanek Helsley; wife, Marlene Helsley of Champion; son, Jesse Helsley of Champion; brother, Melvin “Professor BRMC” (Patty) Helsley; Joyce Annabell, his favorite mother-in-law; niece, Erica; and many other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Helsley; and his daughter, Sweet Melissa Helsley.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Castle, 571 Homeview, Leavittsburg, OH 44430, where the Rev. Flu BRMC will officiate. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the Castle.

Interment will be in Sager Memorial Park, Bristolville.

The family requests any material contributions be made to Warren Family Mission, 361 Elm Road N.E., Warren, OH 44481, in his memory.
