James B. Nabors

BOARDMAN – James B. Nabors, 95, of Boardman, formerly of Girard, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.

He was born Dec. 28, 1918, in Dumas, Miss., the son of Lonnie F. and Louetta Hodges Nabors.

James served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He retired from Gallagher-Pipino Agency of Youngstown, and was a member of St. Charles Church in Boardman.

Survivors include his wife, the former Josephine Malito; two daughters, Linda Moore of Howland and Peggy Dolwick of Liberty; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and a granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Church in Boardman. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

James will be laid to rest in Girard City Cemetery with military honors.
