Goldie E. Eloph 1926-2014

WARREN – Goldie E. Eloph, 87, of Warren, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Hospice House in Poland.

She was born April 23, 1926, in Warren, the daughter of Homer and Pearl Snider Ware, and was a lifelong area resident.

Goldie retired in 1986 from Ohio Lamp where she was an assembler for 43 years.

Goldie was married to Walter Eloph on July 23, 1949, and they were married for 49 years. He preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1998.

She is survived by one son, William R. (Linda) Eloph of Warren; a brother, William Ware of Warren; a sister Grace (Redge) Burge of Warren; one granddaughter, Corey Eloph; and her close niece, Donna Poniewasz.

Besides her parents and husband, Goldie was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald, Roy, James and Ralph Ware, and a sister, Hazel Wright.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.

There will be no calling hours or services, and a caring cremation will take place under the guidance of the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
