After furthering her education, she became a respiratory therapist and a pharmacy tech at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren for 30 years until her retirement.
During her life, Sandy was special to everyone who knew her. She was a genuine lady with a quick wit, a listening ear, and always greeted you with a smile. She was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Sandy was a prolific writer and always kept her family well connected and informed. She kept up with the times and later communicated via texting. She was an avid reader, a lifetime learner and a good listener. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching, sunny days and beautiful flowers.
