Richard A. Perry 1944-2013

HUBBARD – Richard A. “Dick” Perry, 68, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at home.

He was born Oct. 22, 1944, in Youngstown, the son of Benny and Lillian M. Ewing Perry.

Richard was a former second ward councilman for the City of Hubbard and a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church of Hubbard

He retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserves and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Beach Perry; three sons, Joseph A. of Hubbard, Richard A. of Parma and Van May of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a sister, Shirley J. Fazenbaker of Hubbard.

He was preceded in death by a son, Greg May, and a brother.

There will be a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and prayers 10:15 a.m. Friday at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.

Richard will be laid to rest in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
