Wendy M. Sutliff
WARREN – Wendy Michelle Sutliff, 45, died noon Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a battle with cancer.
She was born June 30, 1968, in Warren, the daughter of Patrick Murphy Sutliff and Virginia Mabel Bailey Sutliff.
Wendy was a 1986 graduate of Maplewood High School and TCTC where she studied retail. She then worked at Phar-Mor at multiple locations until they closed.
Wendy was also a homemaker as she took care of her only child, Miranda. She loved music and going to concerts, and when she was younger, she was highly involved in 4-H, as she loved to ride horses. Wendy also loved to write poetry.
She was a member of First Church of God of Farmdale.
Other than her father, her only child, Miranda Rachelle Sutliff at home; one sister, Jennifer Evvs of Gustavus; many aunts, uncles and three nieces survive.
Her mother and sister, Charlene “Charlee” Sutliff preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 28 at First Church of God of Farmdale, where family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Lee Lenhart will celebrate Wendy’s life.
Memorial contributions may be made through First Place Bank in Cortland, Memorial Fund for Wendy Sutliff to benefit her daughter, Miranda R. Sutliff.
