GREENVILLE, Pa. – Donald “Scott” McAllister, 55, died at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, in UPMC Shadyside Pittsburgh after a sudden onset of leukemia.
He was born Oct. 27, 1957, in Warren, the son of Donald R. and Mary E. Scott McAllister.
He worked for American Industries in Sharon, Pa., and was a member of Maranatha Church in Cortland.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa A. Banyots McAllister; a daughter, Meagan McAllister; a stepson, Paul Lewis; three sisters, Elizabeth Vesey, Jean Tysinger and Donna Craig; two stepdaughters, Kaitlin Groth and Becky Groth; two stepsons, David Groth and Gus Groth; and a stepgrandaughter.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
A memorial service has been held. Osborne-Williams Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Greenville, handled the arrangements.
