Carl W. Jennings, 1929-2013

BROOKFIELD – Carl W. Jennings, 84, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at home, following a period of declining health.

He was born Feb. 19, 1929, in Sharon, Pa., the son of Harold and Olive Cook Jennings.

Carl served in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division Band.

He worked as an electronic technician for Sharon Steel and was the owner / operator of Alcraft Egg Artistry LLC of Brookfield.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Bible Jennings; two sons, Ken of McDonald and Larry of Ashtabula; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

A time of gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Briceland Funeral Service in Brookfield and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Brookfield United Methodist Church, where a service will follow at 11 a.m.

He will be laid to rest in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
