Dale M. Stambaugh 1950-2013
GIRARD – Dale M. Stambaugh, 63, died Monday, June 3, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 29, 1950, in Youngstown, the son of the late Walter and Annabell Whorl Stambaugh.
Dale graduated from Liberty High School in 1968, was an avid reader, and had a passion for poetry.
He was a veteran in the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a retired electrician and most recently was a security guard for Securitas.
Dale was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard.
He is survived by his daughters, Christine (Craig) Smith of Girard and Cheryl (John Bevilacqua) Stambaugh of Coconut Creek, Fla.; a sister, Diane (Ray) Texter of Margate, Fla.; brother, Tracey (Betty) Stambaugh of Los Lunos, New Mexico; beloved granddaughter, Annabelle Smith; fiancee, Judy Pauley of Diamond; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard, where there will be calling hours from 10 to 11 a.m.
