Wilma I. Kasiewicz 1936-2013

GIRARD – Wilma Irene Kasiewicz, 77, went to be with Jesus at 6:09 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center, Warren.

She was born April 20, 1936, in Scottdale, Pa., the daughter of Matthew and Gladys Wiltrout Kozak.

She was a member of St. Stephen Church, Niles Catholic Womens Club and a CCD teacher at St. Stephen.

She enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows on television. She cherished the time spent on activities and games with her children and grandchildren.

A loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, Wilma is survived by her husband, Henry L. Kasiewicz, whom she married on June 4, 1952; five children, Dennis (Catherine) Kasiewicz, Ted Kasiewicz of Girard, Marian (George) Schorsten of Boardman, Thomas (Patricia) Kasiewicz of Niles and Andrew (Cindy) Kasiewicz of Niles; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Wilda (Ron) Hoffer of Acme, Pa.; three brothers, Waide (Alberta) Kozak of Mt. Pleasant, Pa., Wilbert (Martha) Kozak of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Wayne (Bonnie) Kozak of White, Pa.

Calling hours will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen Church. The Rev. Thomas Kraszewski will be the celebrant.

Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
