Joseph A. Kuboff 1920-2013

HUBBARD – Joseph A. Kuboff, 92, died Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Liberty Health Care Center.

He was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Youngstown, a son of Martin and Mary Marko Kuboff.

Joseph retired from General Fireproofing in Youngstown and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Jr. and Martin, both of Hubbard; two grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a sister, Ann Gleydura of Hubbard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ann J. Yelich, four brothers and three sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home. Calling hours are from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Joseph will be laid to rest in St. Patrick Cemetery in Hubbard with full military honors provided by Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
