Norman W. Luridly 1948-2013

YOUNGSTOWN – Norman W. “Sunny” Luridly, 64, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.

He was born Oct. 11, 1948, in Youngstown, the son of Julius P. and Lottie Model Sims Luridly.

He was formerly employed with U.S. Steel McDonald Works.

Survivors include his companion, Rosalyn Kirkland of Youngstown; two sons, Adrian German and Lamar, both of Cleveland; a daughter, Willena Phillips of Youngstown; five sisters, Marie L. Luridly of Campbell, Shandra E. Wayman of Indiana, Brenda E. Johnson of Akron, Vera Welch of Columbus and Naomi Paulette of Youngstown; two brothers, Dr. Julius Paul of San Antonio and Dr. Eugene E. of Columbus; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and three grandchildren.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Luridly will be held at noon Tuesday at Washington Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior to services.

Interment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery.
