Mary T. Kramarich 1922-2013

POLAND – Mary Turillo Kramarich, 90, formerly of Youngstown and Vienna, died peacefully at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Hospice House in Poland surrounded by her family.

She was born July 5, 1922, in Youngstown, the daughter of Dominic and Philomena Lagnes Turillo.

Mary was a 1940 graduate of South High School and was employed at Youngstown Sheet and Tube in bomb preparation during the war effort, and was the covergirl for their monthly magazine.

Mary was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Vienna, belonged to several senior groups and loved St. Francis, as was depicted in her love of all animals.

Her husband, John M. Kramarich Sr., whom she married Sept. 15, 1945, died in 1989.

Mary, who was extremely devoted to her family and never had a bad thing to say about anyone, will be deeply missed by her daughter, Marian (Anthony) Kramarich Nori of Niles; her two sons, Joseph A. (Judy) Kramarich of Cortland and John M. (Susan) Kramarich Jr. of Canton; five grandchildren, John (Kristi) Pokornowski, Amy (Anthony) Reveal, Matthew Kramarich, Joseph J. Kramarich and Mark A. Nori; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Sean and Emily Pokornowski and Cooper A. Reveal.

She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen F. Kramarich; two sisters, Teresa and Christine Turillo; and two brothers, Comiel Turello and Angelo Turillo.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Vienna with the Rev. Frank Zanni officiating, preceded by a 9 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Vienna.

If possible, those attending the funeral are invited to wear something pink in memory of Mary, as it was her favorite color.
