Bobbie Jean Wade 1963-2013

LEXINGTON, Ga. – Bobbie Jean Wade, 49, of Lexington, Ga., passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in the Caribbean while enjoying a cruise that was a 50th birthday present from her brother, Henery.

She was born Feb. 15, 1963, in Rocky River, the daughter of the late Ivin Owen and Betty Jean Goforth Orrick, and moved to Tennessee as a young child.

Bobbie married Collis Wade in 1978, and after traveling the south for his work for several years, they settled in Georgia.

She was employed by Taco Bell as a manager for many years. Bobbie enjoyed camping and selling at flea markets, and was a frequent visitor to Warren to see her brother. She especially loved her dogs and bright, sunny days.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Cassandra Wade, and son, Lamar Sorrow, both at home; her companion, Quincy Sorrow, and his son, Quentin Sorrow; her brothers, Henery Orrick of Warren and Johnny Orrick of Valley View; and her half-sisters and brothers, Mickey, Vickie, Angel and Tina Orrick, Joe and Rex Warren and Bob and Ray Goforth. She will also be missed by her dear friend, David Moss of Warren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Collis Wade.

Per Bobbie’s wishes, no services were held and cremation has taken place.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Edwards Cremation and Funeral Service, Wilton Manors, Fla.
