Police activity reported June 1-27:
June 27, 4:21 a.m. — Hit-skip accident reported on Ohio Avenue at Seventh Street. Police said the driver appeared to be intoxicated.
June 26, 5:12 a.m. — Man driving a truck in the 900 block of Ohio Avenue reported he was being followed by a car whose driver was driving erratically. Monique Conroy was cited on a charge of OVI and her vehicle was towed.
June 24, 6:25 p.m. — Dog running loose reported at 957 Florida Ave. where a dog bit a man on the leg. The man told police the same dog bit another person previously. A summons was issued to Lester Hershman of Florida Avenue on a charge of dogs running loose.
June 23, 10:43 p.m. — Disorderly conduct reported at 317 Hayes Ave. after a drunk man was yelling at people at a birthday party from an apartment balcony. Ronald Madden was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
2:31 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 317 Hayes Ave. where a male threatened to beat up another male.
June 21, 11:42 p.m. — Hit-skip accident reported at 320 Indiana Ave. after someone ran into a vehicle parked on side of the road.
8:12 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 317 Hayes Ave. after a woman reported a man was yelling at children and adults from his apartment.
June 20, 11:32 p.m. — Domestic dispute reported at 317 Hayes Ave. after a man was reported to be drinking and was yelling and acting violent.
8:11 p.m. –Theft reported at 806 Florida Ave. after possible credit card theft.
4:34 p.m. — Civil complaint reported at 1001 Illinois Ave. after woman reported a man gave away her Pekignese-Pomeranian-Poodle mix dog without permission. Police told the woman to speak to legal counsel.
2:37 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 331 Hayes Ave. after people arguing over curfew of minor. A male left the scene on a bike.
June 19, 12:21 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 408 Ohio Ave. after woman wanted a man who parked his vehicle in a private lot to move it.
June 17, 7:49 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 451 Ohio Ave. after people were arguing over picking up a juvenile.
3:51 p.m. — Found property reported at 451 Ohio Ave. after a paper with a yellowish residue stuck to it was received. Police believe the paper may have contained heroin.
9:15 a.m. — Possible rape investigated at a home on Florida Avenue.
June 15, 9:29 pm. — Vehicle driven over center line of road in 400 block of Ohio Avenue. Kelly Riley was issued citation for driving over marked lines.
June 14, 10:28 p.m. — Driving under suspension at 451 Ohio Ave. after driver did not stop at intersection of Ohio Avenue and Olive Street. Alfred Thomas cited on a charge of failing to stop.
June 13, 10 p.m. — Police arrested Bristan Ashburn on a warrant on Ohio Avenue.
2:14 p.m. — Dog running loose reported at 957 Florida Ave. A woman who had previously been bitten by a dog said it got through a broken board in a fence and got into a neighbor’s yard.
June 12, 9:48 p.m. — Expired vehicle registration on Ohio Avenue. Carly Roman cited on charges of expired plates and driving under OVI suspension.
12:35 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 1320 Ohio Ave. after someone threw eggs on a vehicle.
June 9, 12:35 pm. — Expired plates reported on Ohio Avenue. Kevin Fedder cited on charges of expired plates and driving under child support suspension.
June 7, 2:29 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 408 Ohio Ave. after damage was done to credit union parking lot surface from a vehicle spinning its tires.
June 5, 5:47 p.m. — Driver in the 300 block of Ohio Avenue hit by another vehicle while backing out of a driveway.
June 4, 3:30 pm. — Criminal mischief reported at 401 Pennsylvania Ave., after someone damaged landscape lights valued at $100.
June 3, 9:41 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 442 McKinley Blvd.
8:38 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 101 McDonald Ave. after argument with adults over children. A woman had come to the house and banged on the door.
June 2, 1:45 p.m. — Theft reported at 261 Ohio Ave after a grill was stolen from a backyard.
1:30 p.m. — Disturbance reported at First Baptist Church, 602 Illinois Ave., after altercation and people yelling over a business contract.
June 1, 6:54 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 439 Garfield Ave. after people arguing over children. One man drove from North Carolina to the village.
