Police activity reported Sept. 2-29:

Sept. 29, 1:59 p.m. — Runaway at 1583 Salt Springs Road after juvenile was walking in street near Nese’s Country Cafe. Juvenile was taken to the Police Department and his mother notified to pick him up.

Sept. 26, 5:42 p.m. — Theft at Dollar General, 6920 Tod Ave., after someone removed 60 small trees from behind the store. A construction company recently planted the trees. Tire tracks were found in hay and ground nearby. An employee saw a red truck leaving the area.

Sept. 25, 11:01 a.m. — Burglary in the 700 block of Yerke Young Road.

Sept. 24, 12:06 p.m. — Assist to Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office after a report of someone being shot at mobile home park off Marquis Drive. Clarence Peyatt was taken into custody by police. Three shots were fired from a shotgun.

Sept. 20, 8:03 p.m. — Alarm set off at 6071 Highland Ave. after someone set off alarm when feeding a relative’s cats.

Sept. 13, 4:23 p.m — Property damage at 5135 Palmyra Road after a vehicle pulled out telephone and cable line from a pole attached to a house. The person responsible is not known.

Sept. 12, 7:46 p.m. — Noise complaint at 613 Brunstetter Road after a resident of an apartment told police a neighbor was pounding on the upstairs floor.

Sept. 11, 6:35 p.m. — Unlawful use of telecommunication device to get money at 1583 Salt Springs Road. Resident sent money on a prepaid phone card.

Sept. 9, 7:51 a.m. — Suspicious person lying near a village sign at state Route 45 and Hewitt Gifford Road.

Sept. 6, 10:04 a.m. — Theft of vehicle at 561 Salt Springs Road.

Sept. 4, 10:30 a.m. — Custody dispute at 3911 Highland Ave.

Sept. 2, 9:35 p.m. — Assist to Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office with a fight involving a man with a gun at 3010 Malibu Drive.

4:39 p.m — Man reported being harassed and threatened by a woman at a party at 4170 Palmyra Road. Woman kicked in the side of a vehicle door.

9:44 a.m. — Threatening unwanted text messages at 3505 Cardinal Drive.
