Police activity reported Aug. 31-Sept. 5:
Sept. 5, 6:52 p.m. — Death prior to arrival at 102 Lakeside Way after a resident was concerned of not seeing neighbor for several days. Man found deceased inside home.
3:52 p.m. — Domestic violence reported at 1445 Burnett Street after a man and woman had physical altercation. Man made threats over phone later.
12:45 a.m. — Assault reported at 2029 Fox Chase after woman reported being assaulted by man she knows. Man was upset over music woman was playing.
Sept. 4, 9:39 p.m. — Police stopped vehicle on DeForest Road and Highland Avenue. Theodore Homewood warrant from Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office for probation violation on assault charge.
Sept. 3, 8:27 p.m. — Police stopped vehicle in 550 block of Youngstown Warren Road. Tonya Gunther taken to Niles Police Department after it was discovered she was wanted on a Niles warrant alleging contempt of court.
8:25 p.m. — Police stopped vehicle at State Route 169 and Emerson Avenue. Jautice McDonald was issued a summons alleging drug abuse.
Sept. 2, 10:04 p.m. — Criminal trespass reported at 1 Petro Place. Man was seen with a dog on property. Vincent Marstellar was issued a summons alleging drug paraphernalia and possesion of heroin.
7:27 p.m. — Police stopped vehicle in 20 block of Hickory Lane. Kristopher Marsh was taken to Trumbull County jail on an active warrant from Ashtabula Sheriff’s Office.
Sept. 2, 5:04 a.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 3854 Meander Drive after a vehicle was found damaged. Windshield wipers were bent. A man was seen peeking around the side of the house.
Sept. 1, 8:57 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle at 111 Youngstown Warren Road at the Villa Arms Motel. Jessica Burkhart was issued a summons alleging drug paraphernalia and drug instruments possession.
8:45 p.m. — Police stopped vehicle on U.S. 422 and Villa Arms. Darren Daugherty was issued a summons alleging drug paraphernalia possession and a citation for non-compliant suspension.
3:23 p.m. — Theft of keys and Batman keychain reported at 2169 Garfield Street. Resident found keys missing and believed a family member took them.
12:35 a.m. — Welfare check on resident at 1537 State Route 169.
6:52 a.m. — Petty theft reported at 706 Country Pines Drive after resident gave man $225 cash to purchase roofing materials and he never returned. Resident contacted man’s family and learned he had overdosed. Charges being filed in Niles Municipal Court.
Aug. 31, 7:30 p.m. — Menacing reported at 1439 Lincoln Ave. after woman spoke to tenants who became irate over paying rent. Another woman made threats to burn a house down.
9:42 p.m. — Possible theft from elderly person at 1376 Heaton Blvd. Resident reported $30 missing from purse after a a person had stopped at home to work on television. Spoke to company and employee did not know anything about missing money.
5:13 p.m. — Assist to Austintown police after theft of a wallet reported at Country Fair in Austintown. Vehicle involved with incident found at Russo Pizzera parking lot on Main Street.
12:45 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 2919 Main St. after woman was heard screaming at man wanting to get her belongings out of home. Woman told police she climbed through a window of the house and found a prostitute sitting on the couch. Beer bottles found broken inside home. Heather Kober was issued a summons for criminal mischief.
12:01 p.m. — Passing bad checks reported at Dean’s Outdoor Power Equipment, 2772 Robbins Ave. after $934 check with insufficient funds. Fraud complaint filed.
