6:30 p.m. — Petty theft at 1694 Morris St. after $40 was taken from inside a vehicle.

2:43 a.m. — Domestic violence at 1360 Depot St. after two people were arguing over a bank account not having money.

2:34 a.m — An assault at 24 Hickory Lane after two intoxicated men assaulted another man by punching him in the face and biting him.

Aug. 1, 6:57 p.m. — Domestic violence at 2650 West Liberty St. after a woman reported being assaulted by a man during an argument over a cellphone.

1:34 p.m. — Burglary at 4033 Evaline St. after someone took a 55-inch Sony TV worth $1,000 from a trailer.

9:02 a.m. — Petty theft at 3572 Bee St. after a $40 lion statue outside the apartment was taken. Keys under the statue were also missing.

July 31, 10:16 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police in the 100 block of Ashland Avenue. Eric J. Valentine was taken into custody on an active warrant.

5:32 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped in the parking lot at Villa Arms Motel off U.S. Route 422. Floyd Teague was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs.

July 30, 10:57 p.m. — Brad Shafer was arrested on a warrant for possession of drug abuse instruments in the 2600 block of McCleary Jacoby Road.

July 29, 8:06 p.m. — Damond Crawford was cited on a charge of falsification after a vehicle was stopped at Route 169 and DeForest Road.

8:10 p.m. — An assault at Vista Center at the Ridge, 3379 S. Main St. after a resident became combative with a staff member, grabbing her arm and twisting it.

7:44 p.m. — An assault at Vista Center at the Ridge, 3379 S. Main St, after a resident reported a man struck him in the face. The resident tried to stop the man with his wheelchair. A nurse’s aide separated the men.

9:08 p.m. — Maden Stojanovich was taken into custody on a warrant from Girard on a probation violation at Suburban Trailer Park.

1:32 p.m. — Aggravated menacing and domestic violence at 1497 Blunt St. after a man made threats to burn a house with person in it. A warrant was issued for Joseph Shepard on charges of domestic violence and threats.

July 28, 8:39 p.m. — James Mrofchak was taken to Trumbull County jail on an active warrant after being stopped by police on Robbins Avenue.

6:39 p.m. — Custody dispute at 2144 Gardenland Ave.

2:22 a.m — Drug abuse at 1932 Warren Ave. after Daron Warfield was taken to the police department on two warrants on charges of drug trafficking and possession of crack cocaine.

July 27, 8:36 p.m. — Dillon McCoy was taken to Trumbull County Jail on an active warrant on a charge of drug possession from Niles. He was stopped by police in 1700 block of Austintown-Warren Road.

1:51 p.m — A crash at 1954 Salt Springs Road after a vehicle backing out of driveway hit a mail truck.

10:10 a.m. –Theft at 1230 Owsley Road after a resident was scammed out of a $2,000 Best Buy gift card.
