Police activity reported July 21-28:

July 28, 2:22 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police in the 1900 block of Warren Avenue. Daron Warfield received a summons on a charge of possession of drugs.

July 27, 7:56 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police on Austintown Warren Road. Dillon McCoy was charged with possession of drugs and Mandy McCoy received a summons on a charge of drug paraphernalia.

10:10 a.m. –Scam at 1230 Owsley Road after the resident received a phone call from a man over sending money for a $4,500 Best Buy gift card.

July 26, 11:45 a.m.– Breaking and entering at 3754 Union St. after someone gained entry to a storage unit and took $3,850 worth of items, including grinders, a screw gun, nail guns and a steel saw.

July 22, 11:50 p.m. — Petty theft at 1286 Deforest Road after $200 sunglasses were missing from a car. Neighbors reported seeing a man by the car.

7:01 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police at 1382 West Park Ave. Jerry Jones was issued a summons on a charge of drug abuse.

4:20 p.m. — Extortion at 2967 Anderson Morris Road after a person threatened to post a video of sex acts on Facebook if not paid $5,000.

3:26 p.m. — Domestic violence at 3518 state Route 46 after man would not let a woman leave a home and pushed her against a wall.

2:36 p.m. — A female juvenile runaway attempted suicide at 1470 Prospect St. Police said she had a knife.

5:02 a.m. — Disorderly conduct at 2960 Washington Ave. after a large party with 200 people were in the Oakwood Estates area. Assistance was required from Niles and Girard police, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Trumbull County Sheriff ‘s Office to disperse the crowd.

July 21, 9:44 p.m. — A custody dispute at 210 Forest Glen Road.

8:24 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police at 169 Deforest Road. Ronald Exline Sr. received a summons on a charge of drug paraphernalia.

8:18 p.m. — Criminal damaging at 723 Country Pines after a driver lost control and went off the side of the road.

6:10 p.m. — A vehicle had a possibly overdosed male inside in the 2700 block of Robbins Avenue. Bradley Shafer was issued a summons on charges of drug abuse instruments and was taken to St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

5:35 p.m. — Disorderly conduct at 1360 Depot St. after a man was on porch yelling obscenities. Police issued a summons to Mitchell Adkins on a charge of disorderly conduct.

3:42 p.m. — Burglary at 2896 Carver Niles Road after $650 worth of copper pipes were stripped from the home.

2:06 a.m. — Juvenile runaway at 1682 Ohltown McDonald Road after a 17-year-old girl was reported missing.
