Police activity Aug. 3-15:

Aug. 15, 11:54 p.m. — Domestic violence reported at 1623 Laura Lane after the woman told police her boyfriend assaulted her and held her in the bathroom. Geoffrey Presco was arrested and taken to Trumbull County Jail.

7:35 p.m. — Overdose reported at 1930 Clover Brook Drive after a man was passed out in a vehicle in driveway and was unresponsive. Paramedics administered Narcan and he was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

7:06 p.m. — Unknown person tampered with mail at 2761 Aspen Drive. Mail was found strewn around the road in front of the home and also found on Morris Lane.

3:33 p.m — Domestic violence reported at 1930 Clover Brook Drive after a woman received threats from a man who threatened to blow a car up with a flare in a gas tank.

2:06 p.m. — Disorderly conduct reported on Austintown Warren Road after a car accident with injuries. Ryan Emery was issued a summons for possession of drugs.

Aug. 14, 7:46 p.m — Falsification reported on Robbins Avenue after police stopped a vehicle and the driver gave false information. Richard Lapena had an active warrant from Lake County on a charge of failure to pay child support.

5:23 p.m. — Theft of vehicle reported at 1369 Orchard Court after two four-wheelers valued at $5,500 were reported missing.

6:31 a.m. — A K-9 was used to search a car for drugs on Cedar Avenue.

6:07 a.m. — A K-9 was used in the 200 block of Potter Circle looking for individuals involved in suspicious activity. Male suspect fled in backyards.

Aug, 13, 6:11 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police at DeForest Road. Richard Zamecnik II arrested on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia. Kimyatta Combs was issued a summons on a charge of drug abuse.

Aug, 12. 10:47 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police at state Route 46 and Blunt Street. Deral Johnson was issued a summons on charge of drug abuse,

8:49 p.m. — Petty theft reported at 2128 Gardenland Avenue after an engagement ring was reported missing.

8:41 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police on state Route 169 and Emerson Avenue. Brandon Hupp was issued a summons on a charge of drug paraphernalia.

5:04 p.m. — A resident at 12 11th St. reported receiving a four-page letter from a prisoner.

10:23 a.m — A vehicle chase and hit-skip reported at 2004 Salt Springs Road. A vehicle with two people was going fast and went off the side of the road.

Aug. 11. 10:20 p.m. — Menacing reported at 2878 W. Liberty St. after threats were made.

7:23 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped on state Route 169 and DeForest Road. Damian Click was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drugs and a warrant from Howland police.

7:18 p.m — Aggravated menacing in the first block of East State Street after people in a vehicle made threats, waved a handgun and threw brass knuckles at another vehicle.

Aug. 10, 4:30 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police at U.S. Route 422 and North Road. Terinny Stringer was arrested on a possession of drugs warrant.

Aug. 9, 4:01 p.m. — A vehicle was in an accident in the 1500 block of state Route 169. Jamey Stamper was cited with operating vehicle impaired refusal and reckless operation.

4 p.m. — Petty theft of a storage unit building at 1544 state Route 169.

Aug. 8, 6:04 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 916 McDonald Ave. after someone spray-painted a “For Sale” sign with profanity.

2:15 p.m. — Petty theft reported at Handyman Hardware after someone took 50 feet of copper tubing worth $169.

Aug. 7, 7:37 p.m. — Assault reported at 1380 Depot St.

7:10 p.m. — Police made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Depot Street. Tricia Busse was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Niles.

3:30 p.m. — Felonious assault reported at 1448 W. Park Ave. after woman putting up a privacy fence in her yard was confronted by a neighbor, who hit her with a fence post.

Aug. 6, 11:26 p.m. — Auto accident reported at 2796 Robbins Ave. Steven Carl received a summons to appear in court on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia and was cited with operating vehicle while impaired.

8:27 p.m. — Criminal damage and property damage at 2687 Morris Lane after a mailbox was found destroyed.

8:20 p.m. — Vehicle stopped by police on U.S. Route 422. Tiffany Derosiers had an arrest warrant from Niles on a charge of larceny.

6:30 p.m. — Petty theft reported at Walgreens parking lot at U.S. 422 and Garland Street after two women were stopped in a vehicle. Karen Skeins was issued a summons to appear in court on charges of drug paraphernalia and theft and cited with no driver’s license.

2:30 p.m. — Domestic violence reported at 63 10th St. after an unwanted man would not let a woman out of a trailer bedroom.

7:15 a.m. — Property damage reported on Stewart Street near the Mineral Ridge High School bus garage after a man in a vehicle drove off the road and hit a chain-link fence.

3:12 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped by police in the 1770 block of Ohltown McDonald Road. Gregory Dominic Jr. received a summons on a charge of drug abuse instruments.

1:59 a.m. — Burglary reported at 2962 Clearview Ave. after a male juvenile broke into a home at 2968 Denniston Ave.

Aug. 5, 5:57 p.m. — Improperly handling a firearm reported at West Park and Earl Street after police stopped a vehicle with a loaded weapon under a car seat where children were seated. Mandi Brown received a summons on charges of improperly handling firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and child endangering.

Aug. 4, 4:43 p.m — A vehicle stopped on West Park Avenue with various drug abuse instruments and syringe needle inside. Ryan Drummonds was issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of drug instruments, and Brooke Pruitt was cited with noncompliance and tinted vehicle windows.

8:33 a.m. — Overdose reported at 2518 Walnut St. after unresponsive man was found. He was given Narcan and transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Aug. 3, 2:15 p.m. — Criminal trespass reported at 3442 Hughes Ave. after a man entered a home through an unlocked door.
