Police activity reported July 9-17:

July 17, 4:20 a.m. — Gary C. Phillips, McDonald, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing after officers spotted a man who seemed to be digging for scrap metal at Tight Seal Glass Block, 434 N. State St.

July 16, 9:35 p.m. — An assault at Burger King, 322 S. State St., by a man who told police someone struck him after he told a group of people gathering that loitering wasn’t allowed.

11:58 a.m. — A woman reported someone, two nights in a row, egged her teen daughter’s car while it was parked at 201 E. Wilson Ave.

2:05 a.m. — A possible drug overdose at Chesty’s Bar, 20 S. State St. A woman was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

July 15, 10:33 p.m. — A disturbance at 751 Churchill Road.

9:08 p.m. — Gregory P. Williams III, Warren Sharon Road, Brookfield, was charged with disorderly conduct and assault after a disturbance during a custody exchange at 271 Forsythe Ave.

5:58 p.m. — After a disturbance at the intersection of South Market Street and West Second Street, a man was transported to Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

3:34 p.m. — A woman at 111 W. Second St. reported her neighbor was consistently taunting her granddaughter.

1:36 p.m. — Michael S. O’Connor, New York Avenue, McDonald, was charged with driving under the influence and cited for failing to maintain assured cleared distance following a crash in front of 300 N. State St.

1:27 p.m. — A utility trailer stolen from a parking lot at 501 Churchill Road.

July 14, 11:14 p.m. — A counterfeit $100 bill was found at the Girard Mount Carmel Festival.

1:09 p.m. — Domestic violence at 817 Gary Ave.

July 13, 10:09 p.m. — A weed trimmer and a dirt bike stolen from 437 Taylor Ave.

6:56 p.m. — A wallet stolen from a vehicle parked at 629 Lawrence Ave.

11:51 a.m. — A pizza delivery man never returned to Cocca’s Pizza, 400 N. State St., with the money and magnetic vehicle sign.

11:19 a.m. — Employees at Rite Aid, 713 N. State St., found a baggie of marijuana a customer dropped on the ground.

10:16 a.m. — Criminal damaging at 51 E. Broadway Ave.

9:16 a.m. — A burglary at 817 Gary Ave.

July 12, 10:02 p.m. — A large argument in the street in front of 252 Ohio Ave.

10:11 a.m. — Theft from an unlocked vehicle parked at 506 N. St. Clair St.

July 10, 7:02 p.m. — Criminal damaging at 142 Townsend Ave.

3:08 p.m. — A woman reported someone stole items from her trunk at 332 Forsythe Ave. when she went inside to gather more items to load into it.

2:11 a.m. — After a fight at 44 W. Liberty St., Michelle M. Childers, South Meridian Road, Austintown, was arrested on charges of failure to disclose personal information and having an open container.

July 9, 1:16 a.m. — A girl, 16, reported her iPhone and $150 were stolen from her purse at her birthday party at 868 Krehl Ave.
