Former Red Dragons face each other in Presidents Athletic Conference battle

Jaret Johnson and Tyler Srbinovich, have played baseball together in Niles since they were 4 or 5 years old.

They were both part of some very successful seasons for the Red Dragons during their high school careers. Johnson graduated in 2016 and enrolled at Westminster College. Srbinovich graduated in 2017 and enrolled at Waynesburg University.

Both schools are members of the Presidents Athletic Conference. Westminster and Waynesburg played a double header on April 8 and split the games.

Johnson is Westminster’s starting shortstop, while Srbinovich is Waynesburg’s starting third baseman.

Both young men are having great success in continuing their baseball careers and play a huge role in the success of their respective teams.

Srbinovich was named PAC Rookie of the Week on March 5, while Johnson was named PAC Player of the Week on April 30.
