Home targeted in drive-by shooting

WARREN — A Center Street West resident reported seven to eight bullets were fired at 1041 Hartman Ave. Wednesday.

No one was home at the time of the shooting, according to a police report. A neighbor reported hearing seven to eight shots in rapid succession. When he looked out the window, he saw a red, early 2000s Cadillac Deville driving away on Garden Street, the report states.

Police retrieved five .45-caliber shell casings on the road and the resident pulled a .45-caliber casing from the living room floor, the report states. There were three bullet holes on the front porch post, four holes in the front porch siding and one hole that went through the screen door and the door behind it.

No other bullet holes were located inside the house, the report states.
